The IR470LY-40 is an insulation monitoring device from Bender, part of the A-ISOMETER® series, designed for unearthed systems (IT systems). It continuously monitors the insulation resistance of AC or three-phase AC systems (IT systems) with a rated system voltage range of AC/3(N)AC 0…793 V . In combination with AGH series coupling devices, the nominal voltage can be extended to higher levels . An external supply voltage allows de‑energised systems to be monitored as well . The device complies with IEC 61557‑8 .

The systems to be monitored should not contain DC components . The set response values apply to the pure AC system only .
