8-Channel Digital Input Module for Modicon M238 and Twido, 24 VDC

The TM2DDI8DT adds eight 24 VDC discrete inputs to Modicon M238, Twido and Advantys OTB controllers. Each channel reads sensors, limit switches, pushbuttons and relay contacts, and accepts either sink or source wiring without extra configuration, so the same module suits positive and negative logic panels.

Inputs draw 7 mA at 24 V with a 3.4 kOhm impedance and switch in 4 ms. The guaranteed thresholds are 15 V for ON and 5 V for OFF, and the input type meets IEC 61131-2 Type 1 for industrial digital signals. All eight channels share one common point, so every input on the module must reference the same supply.

The module is 23.5 mm wide and clips onto a 35 mm DIN rail. Wiring lands on a removable screw terminal block that can be pulled out for bench work, and a display block shows channel status at a glance. Isolation between the inputs and the internal bus is 500 VAC.
