2-Channel Analog Input Module for Modicon M238, 0-10 V and 4-20 mA

The TM2AMI2HT adds two analog input channels to Modicon M238, Twido and Advantys OTB controllers. Each channel accepts either a 0-10 V voltage signal or a 4-20 mA current signal, so pressure transmitters, level sensors, flow meters and speed feedback can be connected without external signal conditioning.

Both inputs are high-level, non-differential and share a common reference. Resolution is 12 bit, with an LSB of 2.5 mV on voltage input and 4.8 uA on current input. Measurement error is within 0.2 % of full scale at 25 C, and repeatability is 0.5 % of full scale. Sampling takes 10 ms per channel plus one controller cycle.

The module is powered from an external 24 VDC supply (20.4-28.8 V) and draws 50 mA on the internal 5 V bus and 40 mA on the 24 V supply. Inputs are isolated from the internal logic by photocoupler with 500 V dielectric strength. Wiring uses a single removable screw terminal block that accepts shielded cable, and the module is 23.5 mm wide on a 35 mm DIN rail.
