The 1734-IR@, being part of the POINT I/O family is a cost-effective, panel space saving module as it supports mounting to a standard 35mm DIN rail and occupies only 56 x 12 x 75.5 mm (2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 in.). Additionally, it has an open style enclosure which means any enclosure suitable to the application area is equally usable to the 1734-IR2.
The 1734-IR2 mainly features Two (2) Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) input channels. Each input channel is compatible for direct interfacing with RTD sensors such as 100 Pt α = 0.00385; 200 Pt α = 0.00385; 100 Pt α = 0.003916; 200 Pt α = 0.003916; 10 Cu α = 0.00427; 100 Ni α = 0.00618; 120 Ni α = 0.00618 and 120 Ni α = 0.00672 sensors and direct wiring of 0-600 Ω resistance signals. This module is a 16-nit resolution analog input module ideally used for temperature applications. It has requires use of 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TOP, or 1734-TOPS wiring base assembly.
