The ZUE150 is an automatic restart relay (also functioning as an undervoltage bridge) manufactured by the German company BENDER. It is primarily used in the control circuits of industrial production lines, machinery manufacturing, and conveyor systems to enable the automatic restart and staggered, time-delayed re-engagement of loads following brief power outages or voltage dips.
Core Functions & Working Principle
• Voltage Monitoring: Real-time measurement and monitoring of voltage values in the control circuit.
• Bridging Time (t_{AB}): Users can continuously adjust the allowable power interruption duration (maximum reclosing waiting time). If the power failure or undervoltage duration does not exceed the set value, the relay will automatically send a start signal after voltage recovery. If the interruption time exceeds the set value, automatic reset will not be triggered, and manual start is required to ensure equipment and personnel safety.
• Switch-on Delay (t_{AN}): Supports continuously adjustable startup delay. It prevents simultaneous startup of all high-power loads upon grid recovery to avoid secondary impact on the power grid.
• Manual Priority: Pressing the external OFF stop button at any time directly opens the external contactor and locks the automatic restart function. Meanwhile, the device allows skipping the delay for immediate startup as needed.
