The VME420-D-2 is a multifunctional voltage and frequency monitoring relay from Bender, part of the LINETRAXX® series. It is designed for single‑phase AC and DC systems to monitor undervoltage (< U), overvoltage (> U), underfrequency (< f), and overfrequency (> f). Voltage measurement uses the true RMS (r.m.s.) method to maintain high accuracy even in harmonic‑distorted environments. This version requires an external auxiliary supply (AC/DC 70…300 V). It features a multi‑function LC display and adjustable response delays and switching hysteresis to prevent nuisance tripping caused by start‑up transients or short voltage fluctuations.
