The IRD201M is an insulation monitoring device from Bender, designed for unearthed systems (IT systems). It superimposes a DC measuring voltage onto the monitored system and continuously monitors the insulation resistance to earth. When the insulation resistance falls below a preset response value, the device triggers an alarm (relay operates, LED lights up). After the earth fault is removed, the device resets automatically.
This model is suitable for three‑phase AC IT systems with a rated voltage of 3AC 0…230 V. It can also be used with AGH series coupling devices to extend the voltage range (e.g., AGH251 extends to AC 0…2500 V, AGH507S extends to AC 0…2500 V).
