The RCM470DY-13 is a residual current monitor designed for unearthed AC or 3(N)AC systems (IT systems). It evaluates residual current directionally, meaning only insulation faults detected on the load side are signalled, enabling selective fault location in extended systems.
The device uses external measuring current transformers (W… or WR… series) and complies with IEC 60755 Type A standard for detecting AC and pulsating DC residual currents.
