The EDS460-D-1 is an insulation fault locator designed for unearthed systems (IT systems) to automatically locate insulation faults. It works together with an ISOMETER® insulation monitoring device (e.g., IRDH575) or a PGH series locating current injector: when the ISOMETER® detects an insulation fault and generates a locating current signal, the EDS460-D-1 detects this signal via measuring current transformers installed on each branch circuit, thereby precisely identifying the faulty circuit without interrupting the power supply.

This model is the D version, featuring a graphical LCD display with integrated control and display functions. It has 12 measuring channels with independent alarm contacts per channel. The -1 suffix indicates a low‑voltage power supply: DC 16…94 V / AC 16…72 V, 42…460 Hz.
