The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K4M20D is a PanelView Plus 400 operator terminal. This operator terminal is used by plant operators to monitor and control industrial machines or processes through the provided 3.8-inch monochrome display screen and embedded keypad assembly.

With a monochrome screen, this operator terminal can be designed with black and white graphics. Additionally, the 3.8-inch display screen can be optimally designed to provide graphical or textual representation of the process, providing the required control and monitoring points of the process. The embedded communication interfaces with this operator terminal includes One (1) Ethernet, One (1) RS232 and Two (2) USB interfaces. Ethernet supports 10/100 Mbps communication speed over LAN cables and may be implemented up to 100 m range which may be extended by using ethernet switches or media conversion. This communication interface support communication with simultaneous automation partners. With RS232, point-to-point communication is achieved over short distance communication. This port supports Allen-Bradley DF1 and DH485 communication. USB ports are primarily used to connect peripheral devices such as mouse, keyboard and removable flash drives.
