Description
The Allen-Bradley 5069-FPD is a compact I/O module that has dimensions of 5.4 x 0.87 x 4.2 in. This module breaks up field-side power sharing in the Compact I/O system and produces new SA Power section where other modules can draw power from. The Allen-Bradley 5069-FPD is intended for a pollution level 2 industry environment, in excessive category II applications (as outlined in the publication of the IEC 60664-1). This module can operate at an altitude of up to 6562 feet without derating. The 5069-FPD is not intended for use in a residential neighborhood. This module may not provide adequate protection against radio communication services in the neighborhood. If you connect or disconnect the cable to the terminal block or if you insert or discharge the module when power is on, an electric arc may occur. This may cause an explosion in hazardous locations. Make sure that the power is removed and that the area is not dangerous before continuing. The Allen-Bradley 5069-FPD in accordance with the standard EN 60079-0: 2012 + A11: 2013, EN 60079-15: 2010 when used on or under AC 125V with reference certificate number DEMKO 15 ATEX 1455X.
