Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-CRR1 is an expansion cable that connects an I/O bank to another I/O bank and comes with terminating caps. To be specific, this expansion cable allows users to connect the right I/O bank to another right I/O bank. The entire 1769-CRR1 expansion cable measures approximately 305 mm or 1 foot from end to end and the terminating caps have dimensions of 0.71 x 4.65 inches or 18 x 118 mm. Note that this expansion cable can be used for both MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers, specifically 1769 Compact I/O. It has an open type enclosure and it is compatible with Series A and B controllers. The shipping weight of this expansion cable is 0.66 lbs. or 300 g.

This expansion cable has a continuous isolation voltage of 30V, as well as a backplane current of 1.4 A at 24V. The power consumption of the 1769-CRR1 expansion cable is 33.6 W, while its power dissipation is 7.5 W. When using this expansion cable, it should have an altitude of 2000 m at maximum or 6561 ft. The ambient temperature of this expansion cable should range from 32 to 144 °F or 0 to 60 °C when used with a compatible controller and the temperature should range from -40 to 185 ° F or -40 to 85 °C when it is stored. The vibration of the 1769-CRR1 expansion cable is 5 g, peak-to-peak at a maximum of 0.03 inches and at 10 to 500 Hz when in operation and 2 g for relay operation. The operating shock of this expansion cable is 30 g if it is panel-mounted and 20 g if it is DIN rail-mounted.
