Description

The Allen-Bradley 25A-B062N104 is an Adjustable Frequency AC Drive from the PowerFlex 523 Product family. Adjustable Frequency Drives or more popularly known as Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Variable Speed Drive (VSD) or Inverter are electronic devices that is mainly used to perform basic motor controls such as well as provide speed control capability of an AC motor.

This drive is capable of implementing basic motor controls such as Start / Stop, Forward / Reverse and Jog or inching control. It is also capable of speed control by varying the output frequency towards the motor, protective acceleration / deceleration sequence, speed ramp-up and ramp-down and efficient runtime and idle operation.

The 25A-B062N104 operates when supplied with the appropriate voltage. Specifically, it is designed to accept 3-Phase, 200-240VAC input voltage range. It delivers output ratings of 0-230VAC, 3-Phase, with rated Current of 62.1 A and Power of 15 kW (20 HP) for normal and 11 kW (15 HP) for heavy duty operation. Both power modules and control modules are detachable, a feature that provides users with the possibility of configuring control modules while a power module is being installed on the machine. Furthermore, the control module is standard and can be used through all power ranges of the PowerFlex series, which reduces spare parts stocks. An HMI interface on the 25A-B062N10 is LCD display (multi-language), combined with the integral keypad, provides a user with a basic configuration tool. The 25A-B062N104 module is equipped with one analog input (voltage or current), five digital inputs, one analog output (jumper for 0 to 10 Volts or 4 to 20 mA), and one relay output.
