Description

The Allen-Bradley 22C-B033N103 is an adjustable frequency AC drive. This drive is part of the PowerFlex 400 product family. It implements speed control via the embedded and programmble control methods available to this drive such as Volts / Hertz (V/Hz) and sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation. Additionally, being part of the PowerFlex 400 family, it supports Auxilliary motor control, AutoSwap and Proportional _ Integral + Derivative (PID) control.

The 22C-B033N103 is especially designed for use in industrial fan and pump applications. It may also be used for Damper control application in Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems and fire and life safety systems. With auxiliary motor control, this drive may be connected with additional motors to form duplex or triplex pump configuration. The drive is capable of energizing the connected auxiliary motors as well as distribute loads evenly to reduce wear and tear. Additionally, the AutoSwap feature replicates the Duty / Stand-by / Spare motor configuration and features runtime distribution, maintaining equal runtime between each motor. Similarly, the Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) capability enables this drive to act as a stand-alone controller, eliminating the need of an external controller to function.

The 22C-B033N103 operates at a supply voltage range of 200-240VAC, 3-Phase, 47-63 Hz. It delivers an output current of 33 Amperes and output power of 10 HP or 7.5 kW. Branch circuit protection is needed to operate this drive. The branch circuit protection is recommended to be installed with a 45 Ampere fuse, Allen-Bradley 140M-F8E-C45 motor protector and 100-C45 Allen-Bradley contactor.

The 22C-B033N103 comes with the NEMA/UL Type 1, IP20 for the conventional mounting outside of inside the control cabinet at a 45-degree Celsius ambient temperature. The 3 semi programmable and 4 fully programmable digital inputs ensure application versatility. It also has 2 analog inputs, 2 form C relay outputs and one opto-coupler input can be employed to signalize various motor or drive conditions. There are two analog inputs which are DIP switched selectable for current or voltage.
