The 22A-D8P7H204 Powerflex 4 Variable frequency drive by Allen-Bradley is a simple, cost-effective, and compact drive, with (3-phase) 480V AC output voltage and 2.2KW (3.0HP) output power which offers the user powerful motor speed control. It offers control and functionality through its fixed keypad and LED HIM, which allows for easy control and interface with the machine. The 22A-D8P7H204 can be programmed with a PC as well as connect to other devices on the serial network, via an RS-485 port. It has 3 unique controls, (Digital, Analog, and Programmable controls), all of which control the machine mode based on the user’s choice. Its digital input control can easily switch between a source mode (18-24V = ON/0-6V = OFF) or a sink mode (0-6V = ON/18-24V = OFF) depending on user’s DIP switch setting.
