The Allen-Bradley 1769-L16ER-BB1B is a processor module and it is also a part of the Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5370 L1 Programmable Automation Controller series with a 4 EtherNet node limit. Using a single IP address, the controller can connect to the EtherNet network with dual built-in communication ports. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B module comes with an integrated switch that supports the linear, the traditional star, and the DLR (Device Level Ring) topologies. Its DLR capability enhances its network resiliency. It can read the structured text, function block, relay ladder, and the SFC programming languages.
