The 1606-XLP90B switched-mode power supply is a 1606 series 12 to 15 Volts DC power supply unit manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 1606-XLP90B power supply uses semiconductor switching techniques and not standard linear techniques to provide a stable output voltage with a low ripple. After input fuse protection, filtering, and rectification, this power supply unit employs a power switching stage and an output voltage-regulating circuit as it operates.
