The Allen-Bradley 2080-RTD2 Micro800 ™ controller is built for low-cost, stand-alone devices. This economical and small PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) comes with a number of features designed according to various industrial demands and according to the number of I/O included on the base. The 2080-RTD2 and other members of the Micro800 series share parameters for the programming environment, accessories, and add-ons that give machine builders control over customizations. The 2080-RTD2 controller operates as an intelligent relay with high-current relay outputs, but it only has the programming capabilities of a micro PLC. However, the controller does have a 12-point form factor.
