The 1734-OB8E is a POINT I/O module which features Eight (8) electronically, protected discrete input channels. This module is manufactured by Allen-Bradley that is primarily used for implementing distributed I/O architecture.

The 1734 POINT I/O product bulletin are compact, low-density I/O modules with compact and space saving design. These are cost-effective modules that requires minimum panel space and supports standard DIN rail mounting. Specifically, the 1734-OB8E is compatible with all POINT I/O communication adapters and Allen-Bradley controller platforms, specifically, the Logix product family, whether CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers.
