The 1C31203G01 is a remote node electronic module designed specifically for Ovation/Westinghouse control systems. It comprises a remote node logic board (LND) and a remote node field board (FND). This module processes messages received from the remote I/O controller and forwards them to the local I/O module, while simultaneously sending responses back to the controller via fiber optic media. The LND provides the module with a +5V power supply.
