The EDS460-D-2 is an insulation fault locator from Bender, part of the ISOSCAN® series. It is designed for unearthed systems (IT systems) to locate insulation faults in AC, three-phase AC, and DC systems. After an ISOMETER® insulation monitoring device detects an insulation fault, the EDS460-D-2 works together with a locating current injector (PGH series) to automatically scan all branches and precisely identify the faulty circuit without interrupting the power supply.
