Description
The 1762-L40AWAR is a MicroLogix 1200 controller. This is an Allen-Bradly Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that is designed with embedded input and output channels as well as communication and programming port.
The 1762-L40AWAR feature One (1) Programming port, used exclusive for configuration and downloading of user programs. It also has One (1) communication port that may also be used as the device communication and programming interface. This port supports DH485 and DF1 communication protocols, both following serial RS232 standard. Both of the communication ports have 8-Pin mini DIN circular interface that may be used with an Allen-Bradley 1761-CBL-PM02 or custom fabricated.
The 1762-L40AWAR supports limited expansion. However, it has an embedded Twenty-Four (24) discrete inputs that supports sink / source wiring configuration and Sixteen (16) relay volt-free outputs.
