32-Channel Digital Input Module for Modicon TM3, 24 VDC, HE10 Connector

The TM3DI32K adds 32 discrete inputs to Modicon M221, M241, M251 and M262 logic controllers. Each channel reads 24 VDC signals from sensors, limit switches, pushbuttons and relay contacts, and accepts either sink or source wiring without changing hardware, so positive and negative logic panels can share the same spare part.

The 32 inputs are split into two groups of 16, each group with one common line on two pins. Inputs draw 5 mA at 24 V with a 4.4 kOhm impedance and switch in 4 ms; the guaranteed thresholds are 15 V for ON and 5 V for OFF, and the input type meets IEC/EN 61131-2 Type 1. 500 VAC isolation separates the inputs from the internal logic, and every channel has its own green status LED on the front.

Wiring uses a removable HE10 (MIL 20) ribbon connector rather than screw terminals, which keeps a 32-channel block down to 33.5 mm of DIN rail width and speeds up replacement. Unshielded cable runs up to 30 m are supported, the connector is rated for more than 100 insertion cycles, and the module is powered from the TM3 bus so no separate supply is needed for the logic side.
