Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 610 Digital Servo Drive, 10 A RMS

The S61000-NA is the SERVOSTAR 610 single-axis digital servo amplifier from the Kollmorgen S600 series. It delivers 10 A RMS continuous and 20 A RMS peak current from a 3 x 208-480 VAC supply, giving 7 kVA installed power and 1.5 kW continuous output. Closed-loop current, speed and torque control with a 14-bit / 12-bit setpoint resolution keeps positioning accurate on demanding axes.

The 70 mm wide housing mounts vertically in a standard control cabinet and leaves room for multiple drives side by side. A built-in fan provides forced convection, an internal 200 W brake chopper handles regenerative energy, and an external 33 ohm resistor can be added for heavier deceleration. Logic and brake stay powered through a 24 VDC auxiliary supply, so the axis holds position and shuts down in a controlled way when main power is removed.
