Description

The 2711P-RDT10C is an PanelView Plus / PanelView Plus 6 accessory. This accessory is a replacement part of the pre-installed display module, compatible with 10.4 inch, colored screen and touch operated operator terminal.

This display component features a 10.4-inch colored screen with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.31 x 6.22). It also has an analog resistive touchscreen that designed to operate up to 1 million actuations at an actuating force of 10-110 g.

The 2711P-RDT10C display module requires only simple setup. As this is a display module with touchscreen membrane, the touch component must be calibrated. Initiate calibration by accessing the operator terminals touch settings and start calibration. Calibration is done with the terminal executing a series of simple steps. It requires operator interaction as the method will ask the user to touch on specified and selected areas of the screen, typically, the corners of the display. Additionally, the display settings also come with an adjustable brightness and contrast. Adjust these settings accordingly.

Common problems encountered with a display module is the low or zero display at all. Typically, when the brightness is already set at maximum and the display is still not visible, the display module must be replaced. It is also ideal to monitor the operation hours of the device.

This display module has an operational lifespan of 50,000 hrs. screen savers may be set to automatically display during idle time. Setting the screen saver properly greatly contributes to a long lasting operation of the device.
