The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 22D-E9P9H204 drive is an adjustable frequency drive from the PowerFlex 40P series. The Allen-Bradley 22D-E9P9H204 drive is based on the popular Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 40 AC drive platform and it features an integral reset button and display that allow the users to change the display. It is available in power ratings from 0.4 to 11 kW (0.5 to 15 HP). It is available in voltage classes of 240, 480, or 600V AC. Apart from the four-digit display with other additional LED indicators provide an intuitive guide to the machine’s applications, it also features integral RS-485 communications that can be used for programming the drive from a PC. The 22D-E9P9H204 has parameters that reset the drive when a fault occurs.

It has a NEMA Type 4X remote and a NEMA Type 1 hand-held LCD keypad that provide control flexibility and programming. They both feature the popular copycat function. The 22D-E9P9H204 drive has the autotune feature, which lets the drive adapt itself to motor characteristics. It can work in a multi-drop network configuration. It gives closed-loop control with an option for Type 3 safe torque in a compact design.
